Meet little Ally! Precious, precious little girl. Ally and her family live across the street from David and I, and we are so thankful to have such great neighbors. There is truly love filling their house. Ally’s dad is away at work on some weekends so in order to capture this sweet Christmas moment of opening (reopening) Santa’s gifts, we had to schedule it for a few days after Christmas. This just means double the presents for Ally! Funnily enough, Ally was WAY more interested in the paper than the presents. Regardless, she had a blast and so did we! I hope you enjoy these shots of this sweet sweet family.
2010 has already proved to be a very productive year! Never in my life have I been the type of person who just couldn’t wait to go to work. I’m more of a “work hard to play hard” kinda girl. Now that I’m doing what I’ve always dreamed of doing, I find myself thinking that I can’t wait to get to work the next day! This is CRAZY talk, for those who know me. Meeting new smiling faces, couples in love, and excited brides brings joy to my heart. This is how I know I have found where I belong. Looking back I can draw a time-line showing how God used certain people in my life, some I hardly know, to lead me right here. Now that I’m here, I’m going to do my very best and give Him all the glory. I’m so thankful and undeserving. It would be really neat to do a blog post of all the people that helped me get here. I think I will!
Thanks for your support! Also, the website is going to be down for a weee bit. The other night David turned around to me in our office with this terrible face and said”You’re going to kill me. No, you really are. I deleted your website!!” To this, I just laughed. What else can you do? It’s a face and a quote that I will never see or hear again and I will always cherish that. We CRACKED up!

Hi Lori :) I recently came across your site from a post on the Sarah Rhoads blog (about your mentor session). I’m just starting out.. taking workshops and starting to get my feet wet.. it’s so exciting to see what you’re doing, to read how you’re growing… ones I hope to write at some point down the road (ie: doing a job I love and making my way on this new adventure!!).
