Round Two!

Sara + Jeremy are getting married in September and they are awweesssoome! If you follow this blog you may have seen them before a few months ago when we shot their first engagement session at the downtown YMCA and downtown Knoxville. This time we drove out to where the engagement actually happened and re-enacted the whole thing…. aaaand then we had a little fun, water fun. Check it out!

The forecast had called storms all day so I called Devin to see if she wanted to reschedule or brainstorm a new location for the shoot that night. I got nervous when she mentioned shooting under a bridge and was bummed that we would have to stay there while it rained. I love to hop from location to location and knew it would be a challenge to shoot in one place for 90 minutes. What happened next was the best 2 hours of shooting…. ever!

Meet Devin + Sonny. I always get excited when my clients say they want to do something “different” for their engagement session. However wild their dream is for the shoot.. I run with it with arms flailing! So, when Devin called and told me about her Vintage dream I couldn’t wait and the wheels started turning. When I stepped out of my jeep and saw that they looked straight 40′s I was like a little kid who just saw Santa Clause. Giddy! It rained and we laughed and it rained some more. When the rain cleared the fog started the move in and I instantly felt like I was in Casablanca. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did!!  I’m posting more on the LHP Facebook fan page.. go check it out! —> Click Here!

So, I’ll be the first to say I severally under-rated Chattanooga! I’m sad it took me this long to experience it when I’ve lived on 1.5 hours away for the last 26 years.I love everything about it. The downtown area is amazing with the most beautiful bridges and waterfront! I hope the trip I made for this e-session is one of many to come.

Now, to this super awesome couple Krishna + Chad. I loved everything about them. Their enthusiasm, their love for one another and their “up for anything creative” attitude. I love when couples let me play with the ideas that flow. Some of my ideas are beyond ridiculous and don’t translate into anything worth keeping, but every once in a while there will be a shot that just speaks to me. There were a few of those in this set and I hope they stir the same emotion in you. Check out Krishna + Chad and leave a comment if you like what you see!
